#ParliamentWinterSession

DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound pride in the performance of party parliamentarians during the winter session of Parliament commemorating the 75th year of the Indian Constitution. Stalin observed that DMK members forcefully countered political critics by delivering substantive speeches on federal autonomy, minority protections, fiscal devolution, and the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur.
The Chief Minister highlighted that DMK parliamentarians strongly opposed the proposed 'One Nation, One Election' policy, condemning it as an unconstitutional assault designed to dismantle state-level democracy and federal diversity. In addition, party legislators registered uncompromising resistance against derogatory statements targeting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, demanding legislative accountability and equitable central financial allocations for Tamil Nadu's ongoing public development projects.
Stalin asserted that the resolute parliamentary performance demonstrated the DMK's crucial role as an unyielding voice for democratic rights and constitutional principles. He called upon the Union government to break its silence and heed the legitimate concerns voiced by Tamil Nadu's elected representatives in Parliament, reiterating that federal harmony requires genuine mutual respect between the Centre and the states rather than centralized political imposition.
