Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted a series of comprehensive rural development initiatives, inaugurating modern child-friendly school classroom buildings, newly built Panchayat Union council offices, and a fleet of 95 departmental service vehicles. Stalin underscored that strengthening rural civic administration and providing modern learning environments for village children remain primary governance commitments under the Dravidian Model administration.
The Chief Minister met with grateful citizens who expressed heartfelt thanks for the government's historic resolution of a forty-year-old land acquisition dispute under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. By de-notifying and releasing the acquired lands back to affected families, the administration brought long-overdue justice and tenure security to numerous long-suffering homeowners. Stalin observed that addressing historic public grievances demonstrates administrative empathy and responsive grassroots governance.
Stalin also extended warm felicitations to distinguished village Panchayat presidents from Tamil Nadu who won the prestigious national President's Awards for exemplary local governance and sanitation. He commended local body representatives for their tireless grassroots leadership, reiterating that the state government will continue allocating substantial budgetary resources to modernize village infrastructure, drinking water networks, and rural public schools statewide.
