Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over the official silver jubilee celebrations of the 133-foot Thiruvalluvar Statue in Kanniyakumari, broadcast live to citizens and Tamil communities worldwide. Known as the Statue of Wisdom, the coastal monument was originally envisioned and unveiled by former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to celebrate the moral philosophy of Thirukkural.
