Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated in the centenary valedictory celebrations of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madurai, assuring entrepreneurs of steady administrative support. Addressing regional business leaders, traders, and industrial delegates, Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian Model governance views enterprise development as an essential driver of social equity. He reiterated the state government's commitment to creating an investor-friendly environment that fosters technological modernization while safeguarding fair employment conditions.
The Chief Minister commended the chamber's century-long contributions toward transforming southern Tamil Nadu into an active commercial corridor. He noted that policy stability, transparent single-window clearances, and robust infrastructure development have propelled the state to national prominence in manufacturing and export performance. Stalin urged commercial bodies to partner actively with public skill-building initiatives, ensuring local youth secure quality vocational training and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Stalin highlighted ongoing decentralization efforts aimed at dispersing industrial corridors beyond major metropolitan centres into southern districts. He emphasized that regional prosperity requires close collaboration between public institutions and private industry. The administration pledged continued policy interventions to ease regulatory burdens for micro, small, and medium enterprises, maintaining Madurai's position as a dynamic commercial hub.
