Commemorating the memorial anniversary of former Chief Minister and DMK founder Perarignar C.N. Anna, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid reverent tributes to the legendary statesman, calling upon party cadres to work tirelessly along the path blazed by Anna. Stalin recalled Anna's profound observation regarding rationalist reformer Thanthai Periyar, noting that Periyar waged a lifelong struggle for basic human dignity, and the historic fruits of that battle are enjoyed by all citizens today.
The Chief Minister hailed Anna as the illustrious son of Mother Tamil whose ideological vision and political discipline transformed the Dravidian movement into a formidable democratic force. He emphasized that the DMK's historic mission remains vast, requiring steadfast dedication and collective unity from every worker to safeguard state rights, linguistic pride, and constitutional social justice against regressive forces.
Stalin warned cadres that frivolous political agitators who attempt to provoke conflicts will inevitably lose strength and retreat before organized public goodwill. He urged party workers to seek the affection and active support of the common people to triumph in their ideological journey. Stalin pledged that the government will continue translating Anna's egalitarian ideals into transformative welfare policies that uplift every citizen.
