The Union BJP Government’s unjust attitude against Tamil Nadu knows no bounds!
For rejecting the imposition of #NEP2020 and the three-language policy, they resorted to open blackmail, snatching away ₹2,152 crore meant for Tamil Nadu’s students and now they have handed it over to other states. This is nothing short of coercion, punishing our students for standing up for their rights.
No government in India’s history has been so ruthless to strangle access to education for political revenge against a State. The BJP has once again proven itself to be the face of injustice and hatred towards Tamil Nadu and its people!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound outrage at the Union BJP Government, describing its hostile actions against Tamil Nadu as unprecedented and vindictive. Stalin condemned the central authorities for diverting 2,152 crore rupees in statutory Samagra Shiksha funds meant for Tamil Nadu students and allocating those resources to other states simply because Tamil Nadu refused to enforce the National Education Policy 2020 and its three-language formula.
The Chief Minister characterized this fund diversion as brazen financial coercion and political blackmail, asserting that New Delhi is actively punishing school students for the state's principled stand on linguistic rights and educational autonomy. Stalin declared that no administration in the history of independent India has acted with such cruelty, weaponizing basic educational funding to execute political revenge against a non-compliant state government.
Stalin stated that this unconstitutional maneuver proves that the ruling party at the Centre harbors overt hostility toward the welfare of the Tamil people. He affirmed that Tamil Nadu will not bow to financial intimidation, pledging to pursue all legal and political avenues to reclaim the state's rightful educational allocations and protect student welfare.
