Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin launched a searing critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party, questioning whether the Union Government considers the very name of Tamil Nadu an untouchable concept. Addressing a political gathering under the campaign banner #BJPCheatsTN, Stalin condemned central leaders and their ideological affiliates for harboring persistent antipathy toward the state's distinct cultural identity, progressive ethos, and constitutional entitlements.
The Chief Minister asserted that the DMK has historically functioned as a resolute vanguard fighting for subnational autonomy and state rights across the Indian union. Stalin declared that the constitutional principles and federalist policies advocated by the DMK today—including state educational autonomy, fair fiscal devolution, and resistance to linguistic hegemony—will inevitably be endorsed and adopted by states across India tomorrow.
Stalin called out the Union Government's systematic discrimination against Tamil Nadu across federal budgets, infrastructure allocations, and disaster assistance grants. He affirmed that the people of Tamil Nadu possess the political maturity and self-respect to see through divisive tactics, concluding that the DMK will persistently lead national efforts to restore genuine federalism and safeguard regional dignity.
