Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the CREDAI Fairpro 2025 annual real estate expo in Chennai, organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India. Presiding over the premiere property exhibition, Stalin commended the real estate and construction industry for playing a catalytic role in driving Tamil Nadu's urban growth, generating widespread employment, and expanding modern housing stock across metropolitan and semi-urban regions.
During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted that Tamil Nadu's rapid urbanization demands sustainable construction practices, streamlined regulatory approvals, and affordable residential options for diverse income groups. He pointed out that the state government has introduced single-window clearance mechanisms and modernized town planning regulations to encourage transparent real estate investments while safeguarding environmental balance and consumer interests.
Stalin affirmed that Chennai and emerging growth corridors across the state are witnessing unprecedented infrastructure expansion, including metro rail connectivity, arterial bypass roads, and reliable civic utilities that enhance property value. He urged real estate developers to collaborate closely with public agencies in developing green, energy-efficient housing communities. Stalin concluded that vibrant construction ecosystems remain vital for Tamil Nadu's one-trillion-dollar economic target.
