Addressing a public gathering during his administrative tour of Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin criticized the Union Government for harboring political resentment against the state's remarkable socioeconomic development. Stalin remarked that New Delhi views Tamil Nadu's persistent leadership in education, manufacturing, social justice, and inclusive welfare policies with jealousy rather than constructive emulation.
The Chief Minister pointed out that despite receiving negligible disaster relief allocations and experiencing continuous reductions in central tax revenue shares, Tamil Nadu continues outperforming other states across major economic indicators. Stalin declared that the Dravidian Model of governance demonstrates how progressive public policies deliver tangible improvements in citizens' living standards without succumbing to communal divisiveness or administrative centralization.
Stalin called upon citizens to reject political forces that attempt to derail Tamil Nadu's welfare model through financial withholding and administrative bottlenecks. He affirmed that the state will courageously defend its constitutional rights, federal autonomy, and self-respect against central discrimination. Stalin concluded that Tamil Nadu's forward momentum remains unstoppable because governance is rooted in compassion, equity, and evidence-based public planning for all residents. This steadfast commitment protects the socioeconomic welfare of every citizen.
