மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கத்தைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவதில் தமிழ்நாடு முதலிய தென் மாநிலங்கள் மிகச் சிறப்பாகச் செயல்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆனால், அதுவே நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் நம் பலம் குறையக் காரணமாகி விடும்; நம் குரலை நசுக்கிவிடக் கூடும் என்றால் அது எவ்வகையில் நியாயமாகும்?
ஜனநாயக முறையில் பிரதிநிதித்துவத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் எந்த நடவடிக்கையினையும் செய்யவே கூடாது என்பதல்ல எங்கள் வாதம். அதற்காக, தமிழ்நாட்டின் பிரதிநிதித்துவத்தில் சமரசம் செய்துகொள்ளும் பேச்சுக்கே இடமில்லை!
கூட்டாட்சியியல் கோட்டுபாடுகளைப் பாதுகாக்கும் விதத்தில், நியாயமான, வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை மிக்க ஒரு வழிமுறையைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள் என்றுதான் நாங்கள் கேட்கிறோம்.
இச்சூழ்நிலையில், தமிழ்நாட்டின் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பாதிக்கும் இந்த மிக முக்கியப் பிரச்சினையைப் பற்றிக் கலந்தாலோசிப்பதற்காக, தமிழ்நாட்டில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட அரசியல் கட்சிகள் அனைத்திற்கும் அழைப்பு விடுக்கிறேன்.
நம் தாய்த் தமிழ்நாட்டின் எதிர்காலத்தைக் காக்க, கட்சி வேறுபாடுகளைக் கடந்து ஓரணியில் திரள்வோம்! சூழ்ந்துள்ள ஆபத்தை நம் ஒற்றுமையால் வெல்வோம்!

Stalin emphasized that southern states like Tamil Nadu implemented population control programs with exceptional efficiency, yet this governance success risks shrinking their parliamentary seats and suppressing regional voices in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister made clear that the state does not oppose democratic representation principles in the abstract, but firmly rejected any compromise regarding Tamil Nadu's existing parliamentary strength. He demanded that the Union Government adhere to a fair, transparent mechanism that preserves core federalist principles rather than marginalizing historically disciplined states.
In response to this threat, Stalin invited all registered political parties across Tamil Nadu to attend an all-party consultation. He urged party leaders to transcend partisan distinctions and unite on a common platform to defend the state's political future. Stalin concluded that collective unity remains essential to overcome the impending danger, pledging that Tamil Nadu will resist central moves that weaken state autonomy or dilute regional representation in Parliament. Protecting the state's legislative strength ensures our people's voice remains uncompromised.
