"இந்தி எழுத்துகளை அழித்தால் வடமாநிலப் பயணிகள் எப்படி ஊர்ப் பெயர்களை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்?" என்று 'அறிவுப்பூர்வமான' வினாவை எழுப்பி, தங்கள் இந்தி விசுவாசத்தைக் காட்டுகிறார்கள் இங்குள்ள பா.ஜ.க.வினர்!

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin offered a sharp retort to Bharatiya Janata Party functionaries who criticized anti-Hindi protests by questioning how passengers traveling from northern states would identify railway station names if Hindi lettering is removed from station signboards in Tamil Nadu. Stalin described the query as a transparent display of regional partiality, exposing an attitude that prioritizes the convenience of Hindi speakers while disregarding the linguistic rights of non-Hindi populations.
The Chief Minister countered by asking how millions of Tamil citizens and other southern travelers manage to navigate transportation networks, bus terminals, and railway stations when visiting northern states where information is displayed almost exclusively in Hindi and English. Stalin asserted that travelers from northern regions can easily navigate Tamil Nadu using bilingual signboards featuring Tamil and English, exactly as southern travelers have done across North India for decades without demanding special linguistic privileges.
Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu will not permit public infrastructure within its borders to be subordinated to linguistic chauvinism. He reiterated that defending the prominence of Tamil on local signage represents a legitimate exercise of linguistic self-respect against central imposition.
