Chief Minister M.K. Stalin invoked his personal political journey as an eighteen-year-old youth speaking against Hindi imposition at the 1971 DMK student conference in Coimbatore, declaring that he continues the struggle with undiminished zeal. Sharing archival photographs from the historic youth conference alongside current mobilizations, Stalin underscored that his lifelong political commitment was forged in the crucible of Tamil Nadu's anti-Hindi agitations.
The Chief Minister renewed his solemn pledge to defend the Tamil language against aggressive cultural standardization and protect the state's constitutional autonomy against centralized encroachment. He noted that over five decades of political activism have only reinforced his conviction that language rights constitute the bedrock of regional identity and democratic freedom. Stalin asserted that just as past generations successfully resisted compulsory language policies, contemporary Tamil society possesses the vitality and resolve to turn back renewed central attempts at cultural domination.
Stalin rallied party workers and the younger generation to recognize their duty in safeguarding linguistic equality and parliamentary representation. He affirmed that Tamil Nadu's voice will remain loud and uncompromising, declaring that Mother Tamil's dignity will be preserved at all costs.
