Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commemorated the historic anniversary of C.N. Annadurai assuming office in 1967, characterizing the election victory as the decisive turning point that elevated Tamil Nadu into a self-respecting, socially progressive society. Stalin invoked Anna's historic assumption of leadership to emphasize that the political identity forged nearly six decades ago remains the bedrock of Tamil Nadu's contemporary constitutional resistance against central authoritarianism and cultural hegemony.

Recalling revolutionary poet Bharathidasan's verses, the Chief Minister declared that whenever threats emerge against Tamil Nadu's dignity, party cadres and citizens will respond with unyielding determination, comparing their resolve to the swiftness of spears and the ferocity of tigers.
