Addressing attendees during an International Women's Day commemorative gathering, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin declared that witnessing women's widespread achievements provides renewed motivation to work tirelessly on their behalf. Stalin noted that while women have achieved equality across professional fields through personal perseverance, true societal progress will remain incomplete until patriarchal attitudes are entirely eliminated.
The Chief Minister stressed that ending misogynistic behavior and violent mindsets against women represents the ultimate benchmark for a civilized society. He insisted that celebratory events achieve genuine meaning only when cultural conventions transform to guarantee total safety and unconditional respect for every woman. Stalin noted that individual accomplishments must be reinforced by continuous public education that challenges regressive domestic conventions.
Reaffirming his administration's social covenant, Stalin pledged that the Dravidian Model government under his leadership will continue strengthening protective frameworks and economic entitlements for women. He concluded that the state's overall prosperity remains inseparable from the progress of women, reminding citizens that when women advance, Tamil Nadu advances. He reiterated his personal commitment as a brotherly leader dedicated to safeguarding female security and dignity across all communities.
