Chairing a strategic consultation with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam members of parliament, party president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced unanimous legislative resolutions to safeguard Tamil Nadu's representation in the Lok Sabha. The parliamentary caucus resolved to mobilize regional administrations and political parties nationwide against proposed delimitation procedures that threaten to penalize states that successfully implemented national population control measures.
The adopted resolutions pledged collaborative engagement alongside INDIA bloc partners and democratic organizations to defend constitutional federalism. Stalin stated that DMK parliamentarians will coordinate closely with affected southern and eastern states to prevent the central government from diluting their legislative voices in Parliament. He reiterated the party's unwavering stance against the National Education Policy and administrative Hindi imposition, demanding an equitable share of central revenues for state development projects.
Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu's parliamentary delegation will maintain unified resistance inside both houses of Parliament. He stressed that preserving democratic representation remains essential for state autonomy, warning that arbitrary seat redistribution would undermine regional self-governance across the Indian federation. He pledged that DMK lawmakers will stand together to protect state rights.
