Watch Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Com. @PinarayiVijayan at the #JoinActionCommittee Meeting for #FairDelimitation expose the injustice in the current approach where states fulfilling national duties are punished instead of supported.
"When a state faithfully implements a nationally recognised policy, it deserves special consideration for that very reason. Not only is this consideration being denied, but we are even being penalised for fulfilling our duty to the nation. This is the crux of the current issue."

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin amplified the incisive remarks delivered by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Chennai Joint Action Committee convention on fair delimitation. Highlighting Vijayan's perspective, Stalin drew attention to the fundamental constitutional injustice in penalizing states that faithfully executed national population policies and social welfare priorities. Vijayan pointed out that states achieving remarkable human development milestones deserve national commendation and fiscal incentives rather than punitive reductions in parliamentary representation.
Stalin observed that Kerala and Tamil Nadu share an identical trajectory of public health investments, high female literacy rates, and progressive demographic stabilization. He concurred with Vijayan that current delimitation proposals threaten to erode the hard-won democratic voice of performing states, tilting legislative representation unfairly toward regions that neglected population stabilization goals. The Chief Minister stated that penalizing successful state administrations strikes at the very root of cooperative federal governance, creating profound regional alienation across India.
Calling for sustained solidarity among peninsular states, Stalin declared that southern administrations will present an unshakeable common front. He emphasized that joint action will safeguard equitable representation, ensuring that national policy rewards good governance and social progress.
