Here is Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana Thiru. @Revanth_anumula garu’s final demand and personal solution to ensure #FairDelimitation:
"It's time for the centre to end the #delimitation policy against the South and Punjab. It's time for the centre to repay and reward us for our great role and contribution in nation-building for the last 50 years. The South now demands an exemption from the delimitation formula based on population just like UTs and smaller states in #NorthEast.
Today, South has 130 out of 543 seats. It means a political proportion of around 24%. Political demand of the South is to increase this to 33% of Lok Sabha seats after delimitation. Anything less would reduce the South to a passive role as an audience in the political theatre of India.
I will soon pass a resolution in my state assembly on this issue. I request all friends to do the same in their state assemblies."

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin highlighted a bold policy solution presented by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Chennai Joint Action Committee summit on fair delimitation. Stalin drew attention to Reddy's assertion that the Union government must cease its punitive delimitation trajectory against southern states and Punjab, which have driven national nation-building for over five decades. He supported Reddy's demand that the South be granted special statutory exemptions from pure population formulas, akin to protections extended to Union Territories and northeastern states.
Stalin emphasized Reddy's calculation that southern states currently hold 130 of 543 Lok Sabha seats, representing approximately twenty-four percent of national parliamentary strength. To prevent southern citizens from being relegated to passive spectators in national governance, Reddy proposed elevating this representation to thirty-three percent of parliamentary seats following delimitation. The Chief Minister also commended Reddy's commitment to table a formal assembly resolution in Telangana and his appeal to other state legislatures to adopt matching measures.
Reiterating Tamil Nadu's support for this proactive stance, Stalin stated that structural solutions proposed by allied Chief Ministers provide a solid foundation for collective federal negotiation to guarantee lasting regional parity.
