Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated with deep warmth and affection in a grand Iftar gathering, celebrating Ramadan alongside religious leaders, community representatives, and citizens in Chennai. Highlighting his government's four-year track record, Stalin expressed immense pride in executing numerous pioneering welfare, educational, and livelihood schemes specifically tailored to uplift Muslim communities across the state. He emphasized that the Dravidian Model of governance views social justice as an inclusive umbrella extending equal opportunities to every minority group.

Addressing the assembled gathering, Stalin issued an unequivocal pledge that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will resolutely contest any legislative or executive measure that infringes upon the constitutional and political rights of religious minorities. He recalled the historic bond forged by rationalist icon Periyar, former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai, and Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi with the Muslim community, promising that his administration will perpetually remain a steadfast shield for their security.
