Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a wide array of industrial infrastructure projects and linguistic publications designed to boost manufacturing output, labor welfare, and regional heritage across multiple districts. At Salem, Stalin opened a multi-storey silver anklet manufacturing complex at Ariyagoundampatti alongside five common facility centres across Salem, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari, Coimbatore, and Erode. Concurrently, he launched five modern SIDCO industrial estates situated in Kanchipuram, Cuddalore, Tiruvarur, Salem, and Thoothukudi, expanding organized industrial space for micro and small enterprises.
To support the industrial workforce, the Chief Minister inaugurated a dedicated modern workers' hostel at the Kurichi SIDCO Industrial Estate in Coimbatore. Stalin also distributed prestigious state awards and cash incentives to progressive sericulture farmers, silkworm seed cocoon producers, and multi-end silk reelers. On the cultural front, he released the general introductory volume and first comprehensive volume of the Comparative Etymological Dictionary of Tamil and Indo-European Languages, developed jointly by the Tamil Nadu Textbook Corporation and Oxford University Press.
Stalin noted that balancing industrial modernization with labor welfare and cultural research reflects the foundational essence of Dravidian Model governance, creating resilient foundations for balanced economic growth.
