As resolved in Chennai, fulfilled in Hyderabad!
Hon'ble Telangana CM Thiru. @revanth_anumula garu has walked the talk by tabling and passing a landmark resolution in the #Telangana State Assembly demanding #FairDelimitation that upholds justice, equity and the federal spirit. Following Tamil Nadu’s lead, this act strengthens the collective call to resist any attempt that threatens the balance of our democracy.
This is just the beginning. With the second #JointActionCommittee meeting set to take place in Hyderabad, more states will follow. We will not let anyone redraw India’s future unfairly.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin warmly welcomed the historic resolution passed by the Telangana State Legislative Assembly demanding fair and equitable parliamentary delimitation. Commending Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for honoring the consensus forged during the Chennai Joint Action Committee meeting, Stalin observed that Telangana's decisive legislative action reinforces the collective resistance of states against arbitrary changes in parliamentary representation. He noted that this milestone demonstrates how interstate collaboration can effectively defend India's federal equilibrium.
Stalin emphasized that the joint resolution upholds democratic justice and equity, ensuring that states committed to social development and family planning are not penalized by reduced parliamentary seats. He noted that the growing consensus between Tamil Nadu and Telangana sets a powerful precedent for other progressive states to formalize similar legislative resolutions. The Chief Minister announced that momentum will accelerate further during the upcoming second Joint Action Committee summit scheduled to convene in Hyderabad.
Concluding his statement, Stalin asserted that regional unity remains the ultimate shield against unilateral central maneuvers. He declared that southern and progressive states will stand together to prevent any unfair redrawing of India's political future.
