Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed the Confederation of Indian Industry Annual Convention 2025, outlining his administration's comprehensive blueprint to expand world-class urban infrastructure and civic amenities across Tamil Nadu. Highlighting that Tamil Nadu stands as India's most urbanized state, Stalin emphasized that modern cities shape human aspirations, drive technological entrepreneurship, and power sustainable economic advancement. He invited global and domestic business leaders to partner actively with the state government to accelerate balanced regional development.

Stalin detailed ongoing state initiatives aimed at decentralizing industrial growth beyond the capital region by equipping Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with modern logistics, transit networks, and high-quality living environments. He explained that enhancing civic services in emerging urban clusters creates equitable employment avenues for local youth, curbing unplanned metropolitan congestion. The Chief Minister noted that sustainable urban planning must balance industrial expansion with green spaces, reliable water supply, and modern waste management systems.
