Tamil Nadu leads the nation with 9.69% growth, the highest in India.
More commendable is the fact that we have managed to achieve this with our unwavering focus on inclusivity, gender equality and geographical spread of growth. Driven by sound fundamentals, steady governance and a clear strategic vision, our #DravidianModel is shaping the future of our State and people.
We are powering ahead on our pursuit of a $1 trillion economy with vigour and determination!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin celebrated official economic data revealing that Tamil Nadu achieved an outstanding 9.69 percent economic growth rate, ranking as the fastest-growing state economy in India. Stalin highlighted that this high growth trajectory is exceptionally commendable because it is anchored in gender parity, social welfare expansion, and balanced regional development across all districts. He credited the state's economic resilience to sound fiscal fundamentals, policy stability, and transparent administrative governance.
The Chief Minister pointed out that Dravidian Model governance intentionally links industrial capital investments with comprehensive social safety nets, ensuring that economic prosperity reaches working families. Initiatives such as monthly basic income assistance for women, free public transit, and youth skill apprenticeships have stimulated domestic demand while creating an enabling environment for private capital. Stalin reiterated that industrialization in Tamil Nadu deliberately decentralizes manufacturing clusters into tier-two and tier-three towns.
Stalin affirmed that the state is advancing resolutely toward its ambitious target of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy. He pledged that the government will continue to foster technological innovation, sustainable green industries, and inclusive welfare policies to maintain Tamil Nadu's economic primacy.
