Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin unveiled a commemorative statue of veteran journalist and ideological stalwart Murasoli Selvam, paying homage to his lifetime of intellectual dedication to the Dravidian movement. Describing Selvam as a peerless ideological treasure who sharpened the philosophical convictions of party cadres across turbulent decades, Stalin noted his profound mentorship. On this commemorative occasion, the Chief Minister officially released 'Silanthi Katturaigal', a comprehensive compilation of Selvam's influential analytical writings and political commentaries.
Addressing ideological cadres as ideological warriors, Stalin urged party workers to study Selvam's writings with intellectual rigor and absorb their strategic clarity into their hearts and minds. He emphasized that political struggles are won not merely through organizational muscle, but through unshakeable doctrinal clarity and rationalist arguments. The published volume equips cadres with deep historical insights into Dravidian ideology, social justice principles, and federal rights necessary for upcoming electoral contests.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that honoring ideological stalwarts preserves the intellectual soul of the Dravidian movement. He called on party youth to wield progressive thoughts as intellectual shields against reactionary political forces.
