#InternationalWorkersDay #LabourDay

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conveyed warm May Day greetings to the working-class community across the globe, honoring the sweat, sacrifice, and tireless labor of working people who drive economic progress. Stalin emphasized that historical labor struggles secured vital fundamental rights, including the eight-hour workday and social security protections, which democratic governments must actively protect against erosion. He affirmed that the core ideological objective of the Dravidian Model government is transforming society into a universal Samathuvapuram of equal dignity.
Reflecting on working-class welfare, the Chief Minister noted that every developmental initiative designed by his administration is rooted in uplifting marginalized laborers, gig workers, and daily-wage earners. He highlighted flagship interventions including expanded medical insurance, welfare board benefits for informal workers, and dignified working conditions for unorganized sectors. Stalin described his government as one established by ordinary citizens for ordinary citizens, pledging that state policies will always champion their socioeconomic security.
Stalin urged the working population to unite against regressive economic policies that dismantle labor safeguards and exacerbate economic inequality. He reaffirmed that Tamil Nadu will remain a bastion of social justice, inclusive labor rights, and working-class empowerment.
