Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commemorated the birth anniversary of revolutionary philosopher Karl Marx, paying tribute to his profound ideological contributions toward building an egalitarian global society free from economic exploitation. Stalin reaffirmed that the Dravidian Model administration's guiding motto, 'Everything for Everyone', closely aligns with the socialist ideal of uplifting working-class communities. To honor Marx's enduring legacy, the state government undertook the installation of a grand bronze statue at the entrance of the Connemara Public Library in Chennai.
Stalin revealed that he personally visited the historic library campus to inspect the premises and finalize an imposing location for the monument. Construction and landscaping works are progressing rapidly under departmental supervision. The Chief Minister noted that placing Marx's statue at a premier public repository of knowledge symbolizes the enduring power of progressive ideas, critical thinking, and working-class emancipation.
The Chief Minister observed that Marxist philosophy continues to illuminate the global struggle against inequality, caste oppression, and social marginalization. He declared that Tamil Nadu will consistently champion human dignity, working-class labor rights, and universal social progress guided by progressive thinkers.
