Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared a heartwarming letter of appreciation received from a young student named Dev Sanjay Krishna, who expressed immense joy and gratitude after visiting the world-class Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai. Delighted by the boy's vibrant reading interest, Stalin observed that appreciation received from inquisitive young minds provides double the motivation for public servants. The Chief Minister declared that state investments in modern public knowledge repositories will intellectually enrich future generations and cultivate a lifelong culture of reading across Tamil Nadu.
The Kalaignar Centenary Library, established across eight floors in Madurai, houses hundreds of thousands of books, digital archives, competitive examination wings, and dedicated children's reading sections equipped with interactive multimedia learning tools. Stalin noted that providing rural and southern district youth with access to literary and scientific treasures on par with world capitals democratizes knowledge and bridges urban-rural educational disparities.
Stalin reaffirmed that expanding libraries and promoting vernacular literature remain foundational commitments of Dravidian Model governance. He expressed confidence that Tamil Nadu's young scholars will utilize these modern institutions to achieve global academic excellence.
