Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued a resolute statement affirming his upcoming journey to New Delhi to forcefully demand the state's rightful financial entitlements at the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting. Strongly countering criticisms from opposition leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Stalin rejected attempts to misrepresent his official Delhi trip, asserting that the DMK administration engages the Union government strictly to champion the interests of Tamil Nadu's people. He contrasted his administration's dignified federal advocacy with past instances of political subservience by previous regimes.
Stalin pointed out that his administration does not hesitate to challenge arbitrary central policies, highlighting that Tamil Nadu had moved the Supreme Court that very day to legally enforce its federal and financial prerogatives. The Chief Minister declared that his leadership has always held high the black-and-red banner of the Dravidian movement, upholding the unbending self-respect instilled by Per அறிஞர் Anna and Kalaignar Karunanidhi.
The Chief Minister emphasized that securing legitimate tax shares, development grants, and disaster relief funds requires principled courage rather than quiet submission. He vowed to fight relentlessly on every legal and democratic platform to obtain Tamil Nadu's full financial dues.
