Editorial context

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin penned an outspoken letter to party cadres, recounting his official visit to New Delhi to attend the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting. Stalin affirmed that he travelled to the national capital with an uncompromising resolve to champion Tamil Nadu's constitutional entitlements, fiscal devolution, and federal autonomy before the Union leadership. He contrasted his open, rights-focused advocacy with the actions of opposition leaders, whom he accused of visiting Delhi furtively out of fear of central investigative raids and compromising state interests.

The Chief Minister pointed out that while opposition figures historically resorted to evasive maneuvers and sacrificed political autonomy to protect personal interests, the DMK administration approaches New Delhi with upright democratic dignity. Stalin remarked that the opposition's nervous reactions to his Delhi discussions reveal their uneasiness over Tamil Nadu's steadfast refusal to bow to central political pressures.

Stalin asserted that the DMK's political legacy draws directly from Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar Karunanidhi, who taught the movement to demand justice without subservience. He pledged to continue confronting unfair central policies firmly while securing vital state resources.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
