#LetterToBrethren (2/2)

DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin addressed party cadres through his regular epistle to party brethren, rallying workers ahead of the upcoming DMK General Council meeting scheduled in Madurai on June 1. Reflecting on recent political engagements, Stalin highlighted that the DMK consistently upholds national unity and security, recalling his participation in a solidarity march in Chennai following the Pahalgam terrorist incident. Simultaneously, he noted his forceful presentation at the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting in New Delhi, where he asserted that safeguarding state rights remains an uncompromising constitutional duty.
Stalin called upon district secretaries, elected representatives, and grassroots workers to mobilize effectively for the Madurai council session as the party initiates strategic preparations for the 2026 assembly elections. He stated that political organizing must focus on defending Tamil Nadu's financial rights, educational autonomy, and federal representation against central encroachment.
The DMK president affirmed that the party's ideological foundation blends deep commitment to national integrity with unyielding defense of regional self-respect. He urged cadres to unite with renewed vigor and disciplined focus to protect Tamil Nadu's developmental achievements.
