Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin affirmed that the state government will rapidly establish additional Mudhalvar Padaippagam co-working and innovation centers across Chennai and other districts. Describing the pioneering initiative as a tangible manifestation of social justice, Stalin emphasized that these state-of-the-art facilities democratize access to dignified professional working environments. The hubs are designed specifically to support first-generation college graduates, independent freelancers, gig workers, and underprivileged entrepreneurs who otherwise cannot afford expensive private commercial office leases.

Each Mudhalvar Padaippagam center provides high-speed internet connectivity, ergonomic workstations, meeting cubicles, reliable electrical backup, and collaborative digital infrastructure at minimal or zero cost. Stalin noted that providing equitable access to modern commercial facilities allows talented youth from humble socioeconomic backgrounds to compete fairly in knowledge sectors, software development, and remote service employment. The model bridges the urban-rural divide by offering world-class workspace amenities directly within public reach.
