In a heartfelt letter addressed to party cadres, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin marveled at the scale and vigor of the DMK General Council 2025, remarking that the conclave resembled a massive state party conference. The historic gathering coincided with celebrations honoring the 102nd birth anniversary of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, observed statewide as Classical Language Day to honor his role in securing classical status for Tamil. Stalin called on cadres to channel this collective energy into multiplying grassroots organizational strength under the banner Oraniyil Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister announced that he will embark on extensive statewide tours across districts to meet local citizens and party workers directly. He noted that the General Council resolved to launch energetic public campaigns highlighting landmark welfare interventions, including breakfast schemes in primary schools, free bus travel for women, and monthly basic income assistance. Stalin urged functionaries to maintain disciplined coordination to secure a decisive mandate in the upcoming 2026 assembly elections.
Stalin affirmed that the partys ideological strength derives entirely from its dedicated grassroots cadre and informed citizens. He declared that unity and discipline will ensure uninterrupted Dravidian Model governance for Tamil Nadu.
