Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated two major high-technology manufacturing facilities: an artificial intelligence-driven robotics plant by German innovator Agile Robots SE at the Irungattukottai SIPCOT industrial estate, and an advanced air separation unit by SOL at Ranipet SIPCOT. Representing a combined capital investment of 475 crore rupees, these facilities will manufacture high-precision robotic systems and essential industrial gases while creating hundreds of specialized technical jobs for youth. Stalin emphasized that attracting cutting-edge technology investments confirms Tamil Nadus standing as Indias premier industrial and automated manufacturing hub.
The Chief Minister highlighted that Tamil Nadu is the sole state in India where manufacturing accounts for twenty-five percent of Gross State Domestic Product, outstripping national averages significantly. Stalin pointed out that leading national media editorials increasingly cite Tamil Nadu as a benchmark for industrial modernization, driven by focused administrative execution and dependable infrastructure. Through proactive investor facilitation by Guidance Tamil Nadu and Industries Minister T.R.B. Rajaa, the administration continues to attract high-value global manufacturing players.
Stalin affirmed that combining visionary political will with relentless execution defines the Dravidian Model of industrial governance. He reaffirmed his commitment to manufacturing-led growth toward a one trillion dollar economy.
