Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin saluted the remarkable academic achievement of Rajeshwari, a student from a state-run government residential school who overcame personal adversity following the loss of her father to secure admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology. Stalin announced that the state government will fully sponsor the entire cost of her higher technical education, including tuition fees, hostel expenses, and academic materials. He affirmed that financial limitations should never prevent ambitious students from humble backgrounds from achieving their full academic potential.
The Chief Minister asserted that true institutional prestige for premier institutions like IIT is realized only when daughters from marginalized families and rural government schools enter their lecture halls in increasing numbers. Under the Dravidian Model governance framework, Tamil Nadu provides structured institutional support, special coaching, and comprehensive financial assistance to government school pupils entering premier national institutions of higher learning. These progressive interventions eliminate deep-seated historical barriers, allowing first-generation learners to access elite technical careers.
Stalin reiterated his administration determination to continue strengthening public education infrastructure and creating inclusive academic pathways. He wished Rajeshwari boundless success in her collegiate engineering journey.
