Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the grand Agricultural Exhibition and Seminar 2025 in Erode district, receiving a warm welcome from thousands of local farmers and rural residents. Accompanied by Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam, Stalin formally inaugurated sixteen completed developmental and irrigation projects executed at a total expenditure of 175.23 crore rupees. He also laid the foundation stone for eleven newly sanctioned infrastructure schemes aimed at modernizing farm logistics, rural transport links, and local agricultural marketplaces across the region.

During the public ceremony, the Chief Minister distributed welfare assistance and farm equipment packages valued at 25.41 crore rupees directly to 4,524 beneficiaries. The ongoing agricultural exhibition provides local cultivators with direct exposure to advanced agro-machinery, organic farming methods, drone technologies for crop monitoring, and water-efficient drip irrigation systems. Stalin interacted with participating agricultural scientists, progressive farmers, and rural entrepreneurs, reviewing technical stalls showcasing resilient seed varieties.

Stalin affirmed that agriculture remains the foremost foundation of Tamil Nadu collective well-being and economic security. He reiterated the state government unwavering dedication to enriching regional soil fertility, enhancing agricultural productivity, and ensuring sustainable prosperity for farming households.
