Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin celebrated an unprecedented milestone achieved by civil service aspirants from the state, noting that a record number of candidates trained under government programmes successfully cleared the Union Public Service Commission Preliminary examinations. These successful aspirants received specialized academic guidance and test preparation through the state-run Anna Administrative Staff College and the flagship Naan Mudhalvan skill development initiative. Stalin congratulated the qualifiers, encouraging them to maintain their momentum through the upcoming Mains examination and final interview stages.
He commended Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, administrative officials, and expert faculty members for transforming civil services coaching into an accessible public initiative. Under the Naan Mudhalvan civil services scheme, the Tamil Nadu government provides monthly stipends of 7,500 rupees, high-quality reference libraries, and intensive mentorship to candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This comprehensive institutional backing removes financial burdens, enabling talented youth from rural districts and marginalized communities to compete effectively at the national level.
Stalin affirmed that enhancing representation of Tamil Nadu youth in premier administrative services remains a vital objective of the Dravidian Model governance model. He pledged continuous support to aspiring civil servants.
