தமிழ்நாட்டு வரலாற்றில் முதன்முறையாக டெல்டா அல்லாத மற்ற மாவட்ட உழவர் பெருமக்களும் பயனடைய 132 கோடியே 17 லட்சம் ரூபாய் நிதி ஒதுக்கீட்டில், கார் - குறுவை - சொர்ணவாரி பருவத்துக்கான சிறப்புத் தொகுப்புத் திட்டத்தைத் துவக்கி வைத்துள்ளேன்.
அதோடு,
🔹325 கோடியே 96 இலட்சம் ரூபாய் செலவில் 2461 முடிவுற்ற பணிகள் திறப்பு,
🔷 309 கோடியே 48 இலட்சத்து 20 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் 4127 புதிய திட்டப் பணிகளுக்கு அடிக்கல் நாட்டுதல்,
🔷 2,25,383 பயனாளிகளுக்கு 558 கோடியே 43 இலட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான நலத்திட்ட உதவிகள் என,

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated major agricultural and developmental welfare schemes during an official inspection tour in Thanjavur district. He launched the annual Kuruvai special cultivation package with an allocation of 82.77 crore rupees to support paddy farmers across the Cauvery delta region. In an unprecedented move, Stalin extended assistance beyond the traditional delta belt by allocating 132.17 crore rupees for farmers cultivating during the Kar, Kuruvai, and Sornavari seasons in non-delta districts statewide.
The Chief Minister opened 2,461 completed civic and agricultural infrastructure projects executed at a capital outlay of 325.96 crore rupees. He laid foundation stones for 4,127 newly sanctioned initiatives estimated at 309.48 crore rupees, designed to upgrade irrigation canals, rural roadways, and village utilities. Direct welfare assistance valued at 558.43 crore rupees was distributed to 2,25,383 eligible beneficiaries across the district.
Stalin affirmed that sustained agricultural productivity and equitable rural prosperity form the bedrock of Tamil Nadu inclusive development model. The targeted financial and input subsidies protect farming households against climate risks, ensuring water efficiency, higher crop yields, and economic resilience across all participating districts.
