Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the launch of the Ungaludan Stalin administrative outreach initiative, scheduling grievance redressal camps across ten thousand urban and rural locations from July 15. The campaign brings essential government governance directly to citizens doorsteps, coordinating thirteen key departments to process more than forty civic services. Designated field centers will facilitate on-the-spot registrations for the flagship Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai basic income programme, address pending ration card queries, and conduct comprehensive local medical camps.
The initiative eliminates routine bureaucratic hurdles that frequently compel village residents to travel repeatedly to distant taluk headquarters for basic certificates. Stalin highlighted that the field camps will deploy specialized administrative teams to accept citizen petitions, review welfare scheme applications, and deliver expedited resolutions with complete accountability. Healthcare teams stationed at each campsite will conduct routine health screenings and dispense essential medications to underserved populations.
Stalin affirmed that decentralized administration and direct civic engagement remain guiding principles of Dravidian Model governance. By systematically bridging the distance between government apparatus and ordinary households, the statewide outreach ensures that social safety nets reach every eligible family seamlessly across Tamil Nadu.
