Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin dedicated completed civic works and laid foundation stones for extensive infrastructure improvements supporting the sacred Annadhanam free meal scheme across Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments temples statewide. Stalin highlighted that under the Dravidian Model governance, the compassionate scheme provides hot, wholesome, and hygienic meals to approximately one lakh visiting devotees every single day, demonstrating the administration's deep commitment to universal human welfare and social service.

The newly launched infrastructure projects encompass modern steam-cooking kitchens, clean dining halls, purified reverse-osmosis drinking water systems, and efficient waste disposal facilities across prominent pilgrimage centers throughout the state. The Chief Minister pointed out that serving nutritious meals to all pilgrims without distinction of caste, creed, or economic status embodies the purest spiritual tradition of compassionate hospitality.
