Inaugurating the prestigious ACMEE 2025 international industrial engineering exhibition, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized the vital, indispensable role played by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in driving economic growth and generating massive employment opportunities across Tamil Nadu. Stalin pointed out that MSMEs constitute the second-largest employment provider after agriculture, sustaining millions of skilled and semi-skilled livelihoods throughout regional manufacturing clusters and industrial hubs.
The Chief Minister revealed that the Dravidian Model administration has allocated an unprecedented 6,626 crore rupees for the MSME sector within just four years, doubling the cumulative financial assistance disbursed during the entire ten-year tenure of the previous AIADMK administration. He urged small business entrepreneurs to harness advanced industrial technologies, automated production methods, and state investment incentives to elevate their global competitiveness. Stalin emphasized that robust small-scale manufacturing units remain vital for keeping Tamil Nadu as India's premier industrial destination.
Stalin affirmed that the state government will perpetually provide accessible credit subsidies, modernized industrial estates, and simplified regulatory clearances. He pledged continuous partnership between the administration and visionary entrepreneurs to achieve shared industrial prosperity across Tamil Nadu.
