Accelerating the expansion of affordable higher education across Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated four new collegiate institutions, bringing the total number of colleges established under the Dravidian Model administration to 41 within just four years. The administration has created 37 government arts and science colleges under the Higher Education Department and four specialized colleges under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, substantially increasing tertiary enrollment capacity for rural and semi-urban youth.
Stalin expressed his heartfelt ambition to see the flag of intellectual achievement hoisted proudly by Tamil Nadu students across national and global academic arenas. He observed that establishing public degree colleges in underserved constituencies removes geographical barriers that historically prevented rural daughters and economically modest youth from entering higher education. The newly inaugurated institutions feature fully furnished lecture halls, scientific research laboratories, modern computer centers, and well-stocked libraries.
The Chief Minister affirmed that investment in public colleges represents the most enduring contribution to state development. He reiterated his administration's pledge to provide top-quality collegiate education to every single aspiring learner throughout all parts of Tamil Nadu.
