Commemorating National Doctors Day 2025, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin extended warm greetings to medical professionals across the state, praising their relentless dedication to safeguarding public health and strengthening the healthcare network. In recognition of their selfless service, Stalin conferred state honours upon 50 outstanding doctors who have rendered exemplary medical care to citizens, particularly highlighting those from humble socio-economic backgrounds who rose through diligence to serve in public hospitals.

The Chief Minister pointed out that Tamil Nadu's public health apparatus stands as a national benchmark because compassionate doctors serve tirelessly in remote primary health centers, taluk facilities, and specialized government medical college hospitals. He emphasized that the state government actively supports healthcare workers by expanding hospital infrastructure, modernizing diagnostic equipment, and instituting fair promotional avenues. Stalin noted that during medical emergencies and routine healthcare delivery, doctors embody empathy and professionalism, saving countless lives every day.

Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian Model governance will persistently prioritize public health investments and physician welfare. He reiterated the state's gratitude to all doctors whose dedication ensures that Tamil Nadu remains healthy, resilient, and medically self-reliant.
