Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin released the comprehensive Coimbatore Master Plan 2041, setting a structured long-term roadmap to accelerate sustainable urban infrastructure and industrial expansion for the region. Stalin underscored that the new master plan acts as a vital growth driver in steering Tamil Nadu toward its ambitious target of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy. He pointed out that Coimbatore's strategic economic importance warrants modern transport networks, planned zoning, and resilient civic amenities to match its rising commercial status as an industrial powerhouse.
The Chief Minister stressed that equitable regional distribution of industrial investments forms the guiding philosophy of the Dravidian Model governance framework. By designing visionary master plans for major urban hubs beyond Chennai, the government ensures that economic opportunities, technological enterprises, and quality public amenities reach all geographic sectors uniformly. The master plan focuses on integrating green mobility solutions, flood management mechanisms, and balanced housing developments to elevate living standards for local residents across the district.
Stalin affirmed that every calculated step taken by the state administration lays a resilient foundation for Tamil Nadu's global economic prominence and shared civic prosperity.
