Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that the state government has conferred the prestigious Thagaisal Thamizhar Award for the current year on veteran thinker and Indian Union Muslim League national president Professor K.M. Kader Mohideen. Stalin lauded the veteran scholar for dedicating his entire public life to fostering interfaith communal harmony, mutual understanding, and social peace across Tamil Nadu, continuing the principled legacy established by pioneering leader Quaid-e-Millath. He noted that Kader Mohideen has guided, mentored, and educated hundreds of graduates over decades of selfless service to the community.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Dravidian Model administration takes immense pride in conferring the highest civil honour upon an outstanding leader whose career epitomizes secular unity and intellectual integrity. He emphasized that honoring champions of harmony reinforces Tamil Nadu's pluralistic fabric and communal fellowship. The state award recognizes exceptional personalities who render distinguished lifetime contributions to Tamil society, culture, literature, and social upliftment.
Stalin reiterated that mutual respect between diverse religious communities remains Tamil Nadu's greatest strength, pledging that the state government will perpetually celebrate leaders who devote their lives to social brotherhood and peace.
