Expressing immense satisfaction with positive feedback from industry and citizens, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin welcomed commendations from CREDAI Tamil Nadu, which described the government's instant building approval scheme as an unprecedented administrative game-changer. Launched in the previous year, the pioneering single-window initiative enables instant, digitized building approvals through self-certification for residential constructions up to 3,500 square feet on plots measuring up to 2,500 square feet.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the revolutionary reform has directly benefited over one lakh middle-class families statewide, liberating ordinary homebuilders from tedious bureaucratic hurdles, discretionary delays, and procedural rent-seeking. Stalin remarked that CREDAI's industry recognition confirms that citizen-centric digital governance successfully delivers efficiency, transparency, and economic vitality. He pointed out that simplifying regulatory approvals stimulates residential housing construction, creates skilled construction employment, and promotes organized urban expansion across municipal corporations and town panchayats statewide.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian Model administration operates with an unwavering focus on citizen welfare and administrative simplification. He concluded that progressive Dravidian Model governance will continually eliminate archaic regulatory obstacles to accelerate economic vitality and enhance everyday living standards for all residents.
