In a major welfare milestone, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin officially inaugurated 729 newly constructed permanent houses for residents of Sri Lankan Tamil rehabilitation camps across Villupuram, Tiruppur, Salem, Dharmapuri, and Virudhunagar districts. Stalin emphasized that providing safe, dignified concrete housing fulfills his government's sacred humanitarian commitment to ensure that displaced Sri Lankan Tamils live with security, honor, and social protection in their ancestral homeland of Tamil Nadu.

Alongside the rehabilitation housing project, the Chief Minister opened a newly built administrative block at the Dharmapuri District Collectorate, together with four modern tahsildar offices and two revenue inspector offices complete with staff residential quarters. Stalin also distributed building permits to civic beneficiaries under the newly introduced instant single-window self-certification scheme, celebrating simplified bureaucratic procedures that empower everyday citizens to construct residential homes without official delays.

Stalin affirmed that comprehensive administrative infrastructure combined with compassionate rehabilitation programs defines the essence of Dravidian Model governance. He pledged that the Dravidian Model administration will continually uphold the civil rights, living standards, dignified livelihoods, and welfare entitlements of all marginalized and displaced communities across the state.
