Highlighting Tamil Nadu's successful industrial decentralization, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin celebrated the state's strategic model of geographically distributed and socially equitable development. Stalin pointed out that unlike conventional industrial strategies that concentrate factories within major metropolitan zones, the Dravidian Model governance systematically channels domestic and foreign direct investments into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across every geographical region, from Coimbatore and Hosur to Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, and Thoothukudi.
The Chief Minister commended Industries Minister T.R.B. Rajaa and the investment promotion agency Guidance Tamil Nadu for securing advanced manufacturing facilities, electric vehicle hubs, and electronics assembly units in non-metro districts. Stalin explained that dispersed industrialization generates dignified localized employment for youth, reduces rural-to-urban migration pressures, and sparks balanced regional economic ecosystems. By developing robust multi-modal logistics parks, specialized industrial estates, and reliable power infrastructure across smaller towns, Tamil Nadu ensures that the fruits of global investments reach every household.
Stalin affirmed that decentralized manufacturing forms the foundation of inclusive economic prosperity across the entire state. He concluded that Tamil Nadu will continue leading the country with high-tech, equitable, socially progressive, and sustainable industrial expansion.
