Commemorating the birth anniversary of pioneering Justice Party Premier the Raja of Panagal, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid reverent homage to the historic visionary who laid the foundations of institutional reservation and progressive temple administration. Stalin noted that when contemporary generations proudly declare reservation as a fundamental democratic right, they honor the trailblazing legacy of Panagal, whose government promulgated the epochal 1921 Communal Government Order to ensure proportional public employment for non-Brahmin communities.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the visionary enactment of the Hindu Religious Endowments Act under Panagal's premiership broke feudal ecclesiastical monopolies, enabling accountable temple governance that currently allows the HR&CE Department to conduct over 3,000 grand consecrations statewide, including at Tiruchendur. In addition, Stalin emphasized Panagal's steadfast defense of the dignity and welfare of Adi Dravidar communities. He observed that the Dravidian Model governance represents the direct ideological continuation of the Justice Party's historic mission, realizing the egalitarian creed of everything for everyone.
Stalin concluded that Tamil Nadu will forever cherish the Raja of Panagal as a titan of social justice. He pledged continued adherence to Justice Party principles.
