Marking an extraordinary organizational milestone as the Oraniyil Tamil Nadu campaign crossed 50 lakh enrolled members, DMK President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin personally participated in door-to-door membership enrollment at Sannidhi Street in Tiruvarur, the hallowed childhood residence of Muthamizharignar Kalaignar. Stalin joined local party workers in interacting directly with neighborhood families, listening to their experiences with welfare delivery and presenting party membership cards.
The DMK president congratulated grassroots functionaries across Tamil Nadu for driving the unprecedented membership surge, reserving special praise for the Tiruchuli assembly constituency in Virudhunagar district. Under the leadership of district secretary Thangam Thennarasu, Tiruchuli secured the first place statewide by enrolling 54,310 new members and welcoming 30,975 entire households into the party fold. Stalin motivated other constituency committees to vigorously compete with Tiruchuli's benchmark, expressing supreme confidence that collective dedication will achieve historic organizational targets ahead of the upcoming victory celebrations.
Stalin affirmed that the widespread enthusiasm greeting the Oraniyil Tamil Nadu campaign demonstrates deep popular alignment with the Dravidian Model of governance. He reiterated that unified grassroots solidarity will ensure overwhelming victory in the 2026 assembly elections.
