Congratulating the Tamil Nadu Police, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commended the state Anti-Terrorism Squad for apprehending three high-profile terror operatives, including Abubakar Siddique, who had evaded arrest across multiple states and central intelligence agencies for nearly thirty years. Stalin recalled that his Dravidian Model government specifically established the specialized Anti-Terrorism Squad within the Intelligence Wing in 2023 to maintain focused counter-terrorism capabilities and neutralize extremist threats through proactive surveillance.
The Chief Minister praised the tactical precision of the ATS operatives and the supervisory leadership of intelligence officers, stating that the successful operation reaffirms Tamil Nadu's reputation as a national leader in law enforcement and internal security. Stalin also extended sincere gratitude to the police departments of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for providing crucial inter-state intelligence and operational cooperation that facilitated the coordinated arrests. He emphasized that maintaining social peace, public order, and communal tranquility remains the top administrative priority of his government.
Stalin concluded that professional, impartial policing provides the necessary stability for industrial investment and social progress. He reaffirmed his government's commitment to modernizing police infrastructure and upholding public safety.
