In a multi-departmental cultural initiative, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin released a landmark publication titled Tirukkural: Treasure of Universal Wisdom brought out by the School Education Department to instill classical ethical values in students. Demonstrating sustained institutional commitment to linguistic scholarship, the Chief Minister presented a financial grant of 2.15 crore rupees to the Tamil Development Council to ensure uninterrupted execution of comprehensive lexicographical and linguistic research projects statewide.
Simultaneously advancing cultural heritage conservation, Stalin officially initiated comprehensive renovation and consecration works for 63 historic temples dating back over one thousand years, allocating a dedicated budget of 100 crore rupees through the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The Chief Minister pointed out that the Dravidian Model governance harmoniously blends rationalist literary patronage with meticulous scientific restoration of ancient spiritual architecture. He emphasized that temple conservation preserves exquisite regional stone sculpture, historical inscriptions, and civic heritage for future generations.
Stalin affirmed that cultural patronship strengthens Tamil identity and historical consciousness. He concluded that his administration will continually safeguard timeless literary masterpieces and ancient architectural monuments with unwavering institutional support.
